Lee Kosla is a Principal of The Kosla Group, LLC and also a founding member and Principal of Pearl Street Liquidity Advisors, LLC (PSLA). PSLA focuses exclusively on transformational clean technologies assisting small firms raise capital or pursue public funding, create partnerships, or

otherwise achieve a liquidity event. An example of which is PSLA assisted an early stage ultra capacitor energy storage company in a series A round of financing led by a major New York Venture Capital firm. PSLA also assists established firms in surveying, identifying, evaluating, and conducting market and technology due diligence around, growth opportunities in the alternate energy, clean tech, and electricity sectors. As a representative engagement of this type, PSLA is currently assisting a national cooperative utility organization find and close suitable investments or acquisitions in grid-scale energy storage and home automation opportunities.

Lee has over 30 years experience as a serial entrepreneur, specifically with early stage energy technology companies. Each start-up was characterized by a core competitive advantage that Lee capitalized on and led to a successful operating business. Lee started his career as a sales executive for a KPCB start-up and then continuing successful senior management positions with over 10 high technology companies. His product experience is diverse but each challenge specifically focused on environmental or energy efficiency opportunities. Companies co-founded by Lee have raised over 30 million in start-up funding from venture capital funds, public grants and loans or strategic partnerships.  In addition to starting transformation technology companies, he has also assisted venture capital and private companies seeking advice on investing in technology plays.
For the last four years Lee has been invited to participate in NREL’s annual Industrial Growth Forum. His responsibilities have included selecting appropriate renewable energy technologies and companies to present their case to investors at the forum. Over the last five years, companies selected to present have raised over two billion in financing.

Lee is a graduate of Pepperdine University and has authored over 30 technical papers and articles. He is married with grown children, drives a Viper RT10, and is also a member of the Red Sox Nation, Sausalito Yacht Club and The New York Academy of Sciences.

Before founding Pearl Street Inc in 2000, Jason served as Director, Power Generation, for Myplant.com, a division of Honeywell. Prior to that, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Power and Electric Power International magazines. During his 18-year tenure with The McGraw Hill Companies, he researched and analyzed virtually every aspect of the global electricity production and delivery value chain.

Jason is a Columbia University graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition to An Investor's Guide, Jason has written two other books, countless technical and business articles and has also had several short stories published in literary magazines. He is married with two daughters, drives a Honda Fit (40 mpg!), is a die-hard Yankees fan, and, as Groucho Marx said, wouldn't belong to any club that would have him as a member.
